Grapefruit Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Grapefruit (juiced)
  • 3 1/3oz Soy Sauce (gmo free (or substitute coconut amino acids))

    1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt

    1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder

    1/4 teaspoon Ground Ginger
  • 1 Whole Salmon Fillet

Directions

Step 1
Whisk grapefruit juice, soy sauce, garlic powder, ground ginger, and salt together in a small bowl.
Step 2
Lay salmon into a shallow baking dish with the skin-side down; pour grapefruit juice mixture over salmon.
Step 3
Cover baking dish and marinate in refrigerator for 1 hour. If baking dish is glass, make sure to pull from refrigerator 15 minutes before cooking to allow time for the dish to warm back up.
Step 4
Preheat Oven to 400 degrees.
Step 5
Bake until the salmon flakes easily with a fork, approximately 40 minutes.

This is a delicious grapefruit recipe and a great introduction to a long misunderstood fruit.
