Chicken Broccoli Stir Fry
Ingredients
- 5 tablespoons coconut aminos (divided)
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil (divided)
- 3 drops fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried ginger
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon arrowroot powder
- 2 teaspoons coconut oil
- 1lb chicken (cut into 1/4 inch strips)
- 1 head fresh broccoli (chopped)
- sesame seeds (garnish)
Directions
Step 1 | |
In a bowl, prepare the marinade. Mix together 2 tablespoons coconut aminos, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, fish sauce, ginger. | |

Add chicken and let marinade in the refrigerator for an hour. | |
Step 3 | |
Prepare the sauce, combine: broth, 3 tablespoons coconut aminos, = teaspoon sesame oil, = teaspoon garlic, and arrowroot powder. Set aside | |
Step 4 | |
Heat coconut oil in a pan over medium high heat. | |
Step 5 | |
Add marinated chicken, cooking each side until it starts to brown. Remove meat from pan and set aside. Do not turn off the burner. | |
Step 6 | |
In the same pan, add broccoli and cook for 1 minute. Stirring constantly. | |
Step 7 | |
Add 3 tablespoons of water and cover pan. Cooking for 3 more minutes. | |
Step 8 | |
Uncover pan and continue cooking broccoli until desired level of doneness is reached. | |
Step 9 | |
Add chicken & sauce to broccoli. Coating everthing with sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes. | |
Step 10 | |
Sprinkle sesame seeds over top and serve warm. |
